WE ARE SEEKING MULTI-GENRE CIRQUE ARTISTS TO FEATURE IN BRAND NEW PRODUCTIONS ABOARD COLOR MAGIC
REQUIREMENTS
We are casting for experienced cirque artists – duos + soloists.
We are seeking experienced cirque artists for a unique cruise contract aboard Color Magic.
The team will be involved in the creation of brand new productions.
Skills required within the team include aerial and adagio. Artists must have a commanding stage presence and be able to deliver high-impact, confident performances.
Previous experience working at sea is preferred.
All candidates must have:
— Biometric Passport; with the right to remain + work in the Schengen Area.
— Ability to work as part of an international team.
— High level of English.
— Age 21+
SCHEDULE
We have two teams of artists. Each team performs onboard for 30 days, followed by 30 days break off the ship — for a rotation schedule of one year (September 2023 to September 2024).
Team members will also be offered the opportunity to join short Guest Entertainer opportunities with BKCP, between scheduled assignments onboard Color Magic.

Rehearsals: August 23 — August 29 in Porto, Portugal
Install: September 1
Premiere: September 15

PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE
Our cast features 13 performers + performances take place every day
— Standard Schedule: 2 full mainstage performances.
— High Season Schedule: 3 shorter performances.
— Pop Up: every other day; the duration is approximately 5 minutes.
Equipment + costumes are provided for all performances.
LIFE ONBOARD
Our team members benefit from excellent terms and conditions, including:
— Contractor / Guest Entertainer Status (not Crew) with no duties or crew drills.
— All artists have their own cabin with its own bathroom.
— Modern productions and bespoke costuming.
— Professional cirque equipment is provided.
— No duties, crew drills or IPM.
— All meals are provided onboard.
— Onboard Welfare Programme: access to WiFi, crew gym, chill out lounge with tea, coffee, snacks and massage chairs, gaming / movie room, sun deck + laundry facilities.
— Access to the Guest Fitness Centre.
Color Magic sails daily between Oslo, Norway + Kiel, Germany; there are no sea days.
